Modernizing the Archaeological Higher Education – Apollonia Pontica and the Mediterranean World

DigiAmphorae is an Erasmus+ project that contributes to the modernization and accessibility of the European higher education (HE) in the fields of Archaeology, History and Cultural heritage management by developing and supporting innovative teaching approaches and by promoting the use of digital practices in education and research. The project addresses also the need for modern educational materials in the field of ancient amphorae via digitizing and publishing a set of amphorae, stored in different museums in Bulgaria and Romania, developing educational units for the purposes of specialized HE as well as educational videos and other resources. All of the developed project results are free and with open access.
